Marla Aronson Scherker was born and raised in Florida. She graduated high school as Valedictorian, and then attended the University of Florida. There she received her Bachelor of Arts degree with high honors, with a major in Sociology and a minor in Business. Marla then completed a dual enrollment graduate study program, receiving her Master's Degree in Sociology and her Juris Doctorate with honors.

After law school, Marla became an associate at the law firm of Bohannon, Rogers & Fox in Fort Lauderdale focusing on personal injury cases. Three years later she was made a partner, and remained there until the birth of her twin sons. In addition to her experience in family law, Marla has 17 years experience helping those injured due to the fault of another, including auto accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, premises liability, and product liability cases. Marla has helped thousands of people, and has litigated hundreds of cases where a fair settlement could not be obtained without the assistance of the court system.
